July 2007, that's when we were treated to the trailer for Warner Bros. Pictures/Dark Castle's Whiteout, the comic book adaptation starring Kate Beckinsale as Carrie Stetko, the lone U.S. Marshal assigned to Antarctica, is investigating the continent's first murder, which draws her into a shocking mystery. Now, with only three days until winter, Carrie must solve the crime before Antarctica is plunged into darkness and she is stranded with the killer. Here we are nearly two years later and now you guys finally get to see it, with WB planning to release it on September 11. With the trailer finally making its way online, maybe this time the release date will stay locked in? Head below the break to watch it and then tell us what you think.
i love Kate so i'm excited as hell to see this! i'm not in love with this teaser/trailer, though. for MOST of it the voice over is just telling us about Alaska and how hard/brutal it is and then 2 seconds (hyperbole i know! LOL) is spent on the actual plot/movie. that being said, this looks GOOD!
I'm clearly not in the majority here. I thought that trailer was LAME. I can tell that it was made two years ago. We've come so far in the movie making business in those two years. I'm thinking this movie will deliver the goods though. Kate Beckinsale is great and will give us a good movie. But the trailer -- not so much.
