According to Video ETA and Blu-ray.com, Warner Home Video will release The Last House on the Left on both DVD and Blu-ray August 18th. The disc will be a BD50 (for Blu-ray) and will include both the R-rated theatrical cut and the unrated cut, four minutes longer. Audio will be 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio, with English, French or Spanish subtitles. Special features include: Deleted Scenes, A Look Inside (Featurette), Digital copy of the Unrated version, BD-Live My Scenes Sharing. John and Emma Collingwood are on vacation at their lakeshore house when, by a bizarre twist of fate, they give shelter to the sociopaths who have just assaulted and nearly killed their daughter. Upon discovering the truth, they exact a chilling revenge on her attackers...
Loved this movie! Can't wait for the unrated DVD, though I don't know how much more brutal or disturbing it can get. It was probably the most intense horror film I've seen in a long, long time.

Garret Dillahunt is awesome. ever since I saw this movie, and Terminator Sarah Connor Chronicles, ive loved his characters and acting.
The remake was so much better than the original. The differences they made, made the movie better.. The original had so much stupid shit in it.
is the dvd going to include both versions lately all the universal/rogue dvds has been including both versions of the movie like the strangers/death race and unborn so i am assuming this will too
This movie was fuckin brillant. This is how remakes are made. IDK how the unrated will be, unrated movies are usally the same only if they are PG-13 and unrated you can see the difference.
Didn't really care for the original, but really hated the remake. Wes what happened? The NOES money run dry? LMMFAO @ the guy who said they should make a sequel! "Maybe a Mob boss could come after them..." Damn kid, you could write for half of Hollywood or at least Michael Bay (he can't write).
With all the shitty remakes these days, this is a complete relief....It actually can stand on its own as a great Horror Film, This is how movies are remade. Take note Hollywood.
