even though i can't wait for the movie and i've liked much of what has been shown from this movie so far, i WILL admit i DO NOT like the half mask thing. the jacket doesn't bother me at all but the mask does. i understand and accept that this is a different Michael than Carpenter's but Michael could go and STEAL A NEW MASK from a store (at night by breaking in to it) or kill a random person for the mask. but i assume that he's holding on to this decimated mask for (for lack of a better word) "sentimental" reasons? still can't wait for the movie. only 2-ish months!

I think this will be a cool movie. I'm not a fan of Zombie's wife, but so long as she doesn't dominate the movie, then I think I'll still enjoy it. Though I think my fav part of the first remake is the way she blows his head off at the end and you think that's it.

God, boo fucking hoo! I agree his wife is terrible I have no argument there. However before you fully judge this movie regardless if you liked his previous work or not wait till it comes out. Be critical yes thats cool express your concerns great, but how can you call something shit when you havent even seen the finished product? I think whats gonna suck is when and if it turns out to be a materpiece or just a good film. Then where are all the haters gonna be jumping wagons? Yeah the last one wasnt great but it could have been a lot worse plus you have to think of studio influence that plays a huge part but now that it has made money Rob has a bit more room to do more of his project. If it turns out terrible than at least he tried something different. Just think of all the other films regardless of genre where people where like this is gonna be shit or why did they cast that person and it turned out amazing sometimes drastic turns are the best way to go. The reason most horror remakes dont work well is because they just copy what has already been done that was the problem with the first halloween to much of a copy. Now you have a complete 180 which all the clowns were bitchin for and now your bitchin that he did it!!? The new Batman's worked cause it was different but everyone was sceptical as hell same with downey jr. as Ironman but it worked. So give it a shot before totally trashin it. I just hope for my own interest its a modern masterpiece cause we need one and second to make sure all the judgemental assholes that think they now everything about everything and how it should go get there foot stuffed down there throat!

As much as I'm looking foward to the release of H2, I really hope the film lives up to the hype that RZ created w/ all the excess coverage. It would be sad if H2 actually bombs. The story plot better be good, and the kills even better!!!!

The only way I can look at this in a positive fashion is that RZ is trying something new... but Michael's outfit makes no fucking sense... Why does he need a hood and all those extra rags of clothing? To conceal his identity? Because I'm sure that hood will make his 7 foot mongloid frame or half blown off halloween mask less suspicious looking. Or is it to keep him warm? I guess he can withstand a gunshot to the face at point blank range but he's susceptible to the cold... Rob Zombie is a piece of trash who think he's a lot more creative and "out of the box" than he actually is

I like this figure,I got the 1st one from 2007,I'll scoop this one up as well,guess you dont have to be jizzin' all over yourself about the new movie to not like the merch,pretty decent figure.....

I can not wait for this to be released and watch everyones statements retract...or worse most of you will give a mediocre response and act like you REALLY did not enjoy it that much. Everyone can sit here and complain that all hollywood is greenlighting is re-makes, but then when a GOOD film director comes along and tries to make a film original SEEING as that is what fans want all he does is get bashed. No wonder all directors do is re-makes if they try to do anything original all people do is bash on that.

Just remember, the people who whine about his outfit are the same ones that think a 1970's era mechanic's suit and William Shatner mask are the height of horror. I can do nothing but laugh at that. Oh no! Captain Kirk in a jumpsuit is gonna kills me! eeeeeeeek! hahahaha. Michael Myers has always been the biggest pussy of the major horror franchises. I hope Mr.Zombie can correct that and make him menacing again. And frankly, with today's economy what to people fear more than the homeless or becoming one of them? No one is forcing you to go see this movie. I dont even care about the movie this is in regards to the figure. That looks horrible...the sculpt is garbage...wouldnt buy it unless it was marked down...I hope this isnt a mezco cause it just looks bad.
