It's funny because about 2 months ago I got into watching all the HBO Spawn cartoon episodes on youtube; & I remembered how good that show used to be. The 1st Spawn movie was garbage. Although I thought the 2 main actors playing Spawn & the Clown did a good job, the movie itself was far too "comedyish" for my taste; like Batman movie w/ G Clooney & Arnold. If McFarlane get a serious script along with good actors he might be able to make 'Spawn' a selling franchise like "Batman Begins & Dark Knight" did for the original flopped out Batman franchise.

DiCaprio? ugh. He dosn't even fit, let alone I doubt he'd do it. Here's an idea do the movie like the HBO show; no tweeks, no nothing. Sick of every time comics or video games get converted into movies someone always feels they have to tweak the characters and story. Keep the fucken story and characters how they original where.
