THE KISS (2009): Invincible

He's about to stumble into an ancient feud between two warring vampyre clans... Santa Maria, the forgotten Queen of the Clan of the Snake has been imprisoned and left for dead in a shallow grave in the desert of Hell. It has taken centuries, but She has finally mustered enough strength to plead loud enough for the right ear to hear... And as Jeremy's love resurrects Santa Maria's corpse from the wasteland of death, Santa Maria's love for Jeremy raises him from the numbing death of his teenage life. But when Santa Maria needs to move up the food chain to keep her returning strength growing, Jeremy's love is tested... did he really fall in love with a ferocious, predatory monster? Did she ever love him? Is he next on her banquet table? Can love ever really last forever? All it takes is the kiss.

REAPER: Season Two (4-disc set): Lionsgate (TEX'S PICK OF THE WEEK)

Sam is a slacker whose world turns upside down on his 21st birthday when he learns that his parents sold his soul to the Devil. Forced to be Hell's bounty hunter, Sam, with the aid of his goofball friends, must track down evildoers and send them back where they belong.

TEX SAYS: Probably the last season of Reaper you're ever gonna see. Check out this wickedly funny series if you get the chance.

Reaper was a great show. I just discovered it recently. I watched the entire first season in a weekend and have been slowly catching up on Season 2. It's too bad it's done, they could have created something really great in season 3, especially if it got the 18 episode treatment like season 1.

I read that they are shopping 'Reaper' around for possible syndication. That would be all right. Not a bad show.

Reaper was a great show, carrying on in the tradition of Buffy. Another well-planned power move by The WB, er, UPN, er, the CW to cancel this gem. I hope the syndication route does pan out; at least ABC Studios is aware of the great property they have.

Yes they are shopping it around for syndication but there is a big problem. Tyler Labine who plays Sock filmed a pilot for Fox which I believe got picked up. Depending on his contractual obligations he may or may not return to Reaper. As much as I enjoy the show, a very large reason I like it so much is Sock. If he was gone it would become kind of flat. I hope if it does return, it returns with Tyler.
