I love how this pussy thinks HIS point of view is everyone elses.... some of us dont want FUN in an iconic legendary horror film bro - some of us are praying we'll actually get scared or HAVE to look away from the screen... I dont think you get it...

No John, I don't think YOU get it. Why the fuck would I wanna pay $14 for a ticket so I can be so scared by a film that I have to look away? Scary movies are a darker form of fun, and excitement, an adrenaline-rush, some are meant to be disturbing and suspenseful, but a guy walking around in a hockey mask killing people is not scary at all.

hahaha.. I love Friday The 13th. All of them. Jason is a badass. Some people look away from the screen..some are desensitized to the scare, but suspense always gets me..especially if its realistic. I liked it more before he was officially reanimated. I loved the remake. I really liked Pam Voorhees in part 1 though. kinda sucked not having her very much in the remake.

Just so you guys know, it appears that the DVD and Blu-ray cuts both have different runtimes. DVD is 106 and the Blu-ray is 122.

I wish everyone could get their facts together on the running time of the killer edition. This guessing game is getting old.

I have a dvd rip of the extended cut and its 106 mins. There isn't that much added to the film, there are a few more shots of gore but nothing spectacular. Who said the Blu Ray cut is longer???

I have no idea about the bluray version, but I can also confirm that the DVD killer cut is only about nine minutes longer. There IS an added portion of the movie that's pretty cool, but most of the extra nine minutes is just a couple seconds here and there and not very noticeable or necessary.

I just watched the dvd extended version(torrent) and I really liked it. It really does add some depth to Jason's character (machete sharpening scene) and the extended kills are nice too. Defintely gonna be worth the purchase.

This film felt like a Jason clip show just stuck together from pieces of the other series. Would have been better off following FVJ with a few changes and no one would have known the difference. Another Platinum Dunes dissapointment- I couldn't watch a longer version.

Andrew is right.with me anyway.I do want fun and suspense NOT TORTURE! I hate torture porn.I wish they would end it already. These are the fun slasher's and I think the reboot was one of the very best Friday's! Can't wait for the dvd but the effin blu-ray better not b that much longer! economy is bad not everyone can afford blu-ray.why should we b punished for that!
