Some interesting news hit our tip line as we were informed that Ruairi Robinson (who is still working on the Akira remake at WB) is now attached to direct The Farm, which is currently in development with Spitfire Pictures. The script written by Matthew Arnold tells the story about a man that awakes to find that his entire community except for 5 others has disappeared. They go on a desperate search for their loved ones and the truth behind the disappearance, only to find that they are the ones that actually disappeared, aliens have been farming humans to prevent their extinction and this group is the latest test samples.

This plot sounds familiar. Also, Rob Zombie sucks - he ruined the Halloween franchise.
