Beyond the break you can check out the first ever photo of Sam Worthington (Terminator Salvation) as Perseus in Clash of the Titans, Warner Bros. Pictures' remake of the classic from 1981 that features the ultimate struggle for power that pits men against kings and kings against gods. I can only imagine how cool the new Medusa will be after seeing Pirates of the Caribbean 2.

This is one remake that I really cannot wait for! We've come so long in terms of technology that I just know this film will kick ass! I can't wait to see what Medusa looks like.
I will remain skeptical since this is yet another remake (albeit loose) of a childhood favorite but the costume and the shield does look impressive. The sword however looks kinda wimpy.
I love the original, but let's be honest, it's kinda cheesy by today's standards. Don't get me wrong, the creatures were fantastic, just everything else was... well. Yeah. This remake sounds great. New story sounds even better. I can't wait.
as long as they don't do Medusa like the game Rise Of The Argonauts did, she was bad, speaking of which i wonder how long till they anounce the remake of Jason that should be good too, then Princess Bride, Remakes that actually should be remade. :)
That image looks like fucking ridley scott designed the poster. This is going to be a steaming pile of dogshit, guarnteed. Full of computer effects, shitty acting and basically it will be the anti-clash of the titans.
DUDE, Liam Neeson as Zeus, Ray Fiennes as Hades, and ol Sammy boy there as Perseus... its gunna b sweet, lol, medusa is gunna be so realistic that people in the audience die
I hold the original film in high regard,But I do believe that this will kick ass.Great cast,Big budget,and hopefully good cheesy violence and gore.Beastmaster,Krull,and Metal Storm are not far away.And if it sucks than oh well, at least there picking a good one to try.
I'm not a big mythology/sci-fi geek, but CLASH was a favorite of mine as a kid and think the remake with todays technology will be incredible. 150% behind this remake and it's success.
EnSabahNure the guy who wrote the article was obviously referencing the cool creature effects in the Pirate films - especially the fish people or whatever which had very impressive motion, reminiscent of the stop-motion tactics of old.

BTW i hope they DON'T give us any glimpses of Medusa, leave it as a surprise and also add 1-2 all-new character/creatures in there as an added bonus
BeastMaster was alot of fun. but the music also had alot to do with my loving memory for it. I dont think a remake for it would do anything that I would enjoy it for.
