This morning the first official one sheet was released for New Line Cinema's The Final Destination, the fourth film in the franchise hitting theaters in 3-D. While the pic was originally slated to go up against Dimension Films and Rob Zombie's H2, it appears that New Line is seeking out another option as the poster teases a simple "August" release, sans date. We'll keep you posted, check out the one sheet inside. Directed by David Ellis, the story kicks off when a teenager's premonition of a deadly racecar crash spares his life and those of a few lucky others. But death continues to stalk those who escaped it.
shit...my finger slipped. Final Destination 5: A New Beginning....The 6th installment will be something alone the lines of...Final Destination 6: Death Lives
This title is only perfect if this is indeed the "final" of the destination films. The filmmakers have not said they plan on finishing the franchise with this one.
Love this poster! I just wish the title hadn't changed. And why isn't the 3-D advertised in this poster? Kinda strange...you'd think Warner/New Line would push that marketing gimick to the extremes like Lionsgate did for My Bloody Valentine.
MCBD016, FD4 doesn't need the 3D to sell tickets like MBV3D did. FD4 will work just as well 2D, just like the previous installments of which grossed millions. People will see the 2D version and be more then happy to do so-unlike MBV3D.
