For those of you who were worried that Summit Entertainment's Sorority Row would be rated PG-13, we received confirmation a few seconds ago that the Stewart Hendler directed remake will in fact hit theaters rocking an R-rating (hellz yeah!) for "strong bloody violence, language, some sexuality/nudity and some partying." Arriving in theaters October 2, when five sorority girls inadvertently cause the murder of one of their sisters in a prank gone wrong, they agree to keep the matter to themselves and never speak of it again, so they can get on with their lives. This proves easier said than done, when after graduation a mysterious killer goes after the five of them and anyone who knows their secret...
I knew this was coming, but now that it's official I'm glad a company that brought us the PG-13 'Twilight' has the guts to release an R-rated slasher flick in theaters!
Sweet news! I wonder which of the girls gets naked...definitely not Briana Evigan or Rumer Willis, of course. But then again, Friday the 13th had nearly the exact same rating, and it had 3 naked chicks in it. Can't wait til October 2!!
So its good news that its rated R? You fucking dolts, just because its rated R doesnt automatically make it a good fucking movie. Horror fans who say that are the equilivant of gamers who think a game with high end graphics automatically means its good.
gargus. Sorority Row is most likely going to suck, but think about it...what would make it better, GORE & HOT BITCHES NAKED!!! The MAJORITY of good Horror & also Comedies, are rated R. In horror we want gore and nudity, In comedy, we want swearing and nudity. that requires an R. Name a good horror movie that isnt rated R!
I think I've said this before, but this film sounds alot like like "I Know What You Did Last Summer". I'll probably just rent this and hope to be surprised.
