'...comfortable working topless in a tasteful pool party scene.' How is a pool party scene tasteful? Platinum Dunes introducing more unnecessary sleaze into their movies! |
HAHA This movie is going to be horrible. Just look at Friday the 13th remake.
Why anyone would want to be part of a movie this bad to do this movie is beyond me. |
And I should know what it feels like. Ive been an extra. |
This goes out to nomoreremakes666 and all the haters out there. Shut the fuck up!!! You haven't seen the movie yet. So how the hell can you say that this movie or any movie is gonna suck before you see it. Here's an idea, walk into it with an open mind and you might be surprised after viewing it. The Friday remake kicked ass. Let me guess, you didn't like it because Jason ran in the movie, or because he held the sister hostage, or because he wasn't a retarded zombie. All you friggin losers need to get over yourselves. If you think that you can make a better film, then go to friggin film school, become a director and remake the film yourself. If not, then SHUT THE FUCK UP!!! I think that I am speaking for alot of people on here when I say just shut your mouths. We are sick and tired of hearing your negativity. |
Topless in a tasteful pool party scene? Unbelievable. So much for remake potential. |
Hell ya thegreatone! I'm tired of it as well. I know I am very excited about this and it's annoying to read all the negativity. I mean what's to be negative about? This is better than not getting a new Freddy movie at all isn't it? Haley is supposed to be playing the dark Freddy that everybody wants and now what's wrong with some tits and kill scenes at a pool? |
amikec281-No, this 'reboot' is not really any better than no new freddy movie. Real fans want a sequel with the real Freddy. But I'm not getting into it again. 'tit's and kills' aren't what made NOES great. The fact I have to explain this to you speaks volumes. The Great One-you're not saying anything that adds anything of value to the debate. I'm one of the 'friggin losers' that wasn't too thrilled with underground tunnels and hostages in F13. So lame. BUT, guess what little guy? I actually thought all in all it wasn't bad, MUCH better than I expected. (PD=lowered expectations?) When are FUCKING RETARD FANBOYS like YOU gonna develop a brain and an opinion? It's funny how those against the remake machine are usually very passionate and eloquent in their gripes against a remake. Then on the other side you have 'Doood so sick of tha bitching, shut up you haven't seen it yet, jackie earle haley, heath ledger, the chick they're casting are soooo hot i think i just got my 1st boner, it needs an update, you still have the originals on DVD, etc. etc.' Arrrgh. I'm tired of trying to talk sense with 12 year olds (or should I say those with the mentality of a 12 year old). |
sooo, some of you actually think this casting call for a "topless pool party scene" is a bad thing for the movie?? Soooo... nudity is bad for a horror movie now?? Sleaze is BAD for a horror movie?? Gawd, get over yourselves. |
i wish this was in boston also. lol fucking chicago.
yeah nomoreremakes55 is obviously a fucking faggot. Just look at his username what a fucking idiot. |
Wow bbedwards. What an unnecessary attack. I guess it's a crime for some people to just be happy Freddy is back on the big screen. I guess we should all sit around and complain because Robert Englund won't do Freddy anymore or because they won't make a sequel. I'd like that too but there's no reason to let it ruin this. |
Hey bbedwards, toughguy. If you read my post, you would see that I was talking to the idiots who bash films without even seeing them. You know, the people that see one clip of a movie and just assume that it is gonna suck. What I was saying was, go into the movie with an open mind, not a mind that is full of negative thoughts. If you go into a movie already hating it, chances are you're not gonna like it after viewing it. You didn't like the tunnels or haostage parts, so what. That didn't deter you from liking the film. And I'm not a fanboy. I liked that PD did something different with Jason in the film. I liked the fact that he wasn't a retard zombie. I liked the fact that he was living in the woods for so long that he learned how to hunt for food to stay alive. Hence, all the traps that were laid out over Crystal Lake and the bow and arrow kil scene. So in closing, I am up for whatever they decide to do with Freddy. If I don't like the direction that they are going with him, guess what, I'm not gonna sit here and say that this film sucks and is gonna be shit because, I haven't seen the friggin movie yet. After I view the film, I will then have an opinion on it. Good day sir. |
Some of you really need to get over yourselves. Everybody is entitled to their complaints just as much as their enthusiasm. Seriously, a lot of you supporters really need to stop whining about people that you disagree with. It's not like your blind faith supportive comments are any more credible than complaints based on facts and common sense. |
"amikec281-No, this 'reboot' is not really any better than no new freddy movie."
This is exactly the type of shit I'm talkin about. How do you know? Have you seen it already? |
Hey "thegreatone",I haven't seen '17 again' or 'Mall Cop', and you know what? I know those movies suck without having seen them. No..I'm not psychic, it's just intuition. You don't have to eat a turd to know it taste like shit. When they start making it free to go to the movies, then I'll keep an open mind, but till then I'll proceed with caution. |
Too bad I'm not a smokin' hot or a woman. |
G.I.Dan, that is quite an analogy you have there. But intuition and $1.19 will get you a cup of coffee. The point is, you don't know they suck unless you have seen them. Maybe they are not your type of films, but how can you say that they suck? You can't. As far as your "when they start making it free to go to the movies" quote goes, don't go, save your money and wait til it comes on HBO or whatever premium channels you have. Then maybe you can watch it with an open mind. |
Maybe I could be one of the party boys! I'm 19, but I'm a little big though. Freddy could rip all my fat out!!! |
couldnt give a f**k about this trashy reboot of the ultimate classic ITS GONA SUCK we all know it just like all reboots |
Anything has got to be better than Freddy vs Jason, that movie was an abomination to both franchises. |
I have liked most thing platinum dunes has done, and I am a long time horror fan. I mean they did not have the same effect as some of the movies did when I was a kid but they were fun. I hated Zombies remake of Halloween however but that is a whole different topic. I was stoked about this but now I have a serious problem. Why the fuck did they make him a child molester? I just read all these comments and it seems to me no one really cares about that which I think is the most outlandish shit I ever heard. I guess in this world of "to catch a predator and pedophiles all over the news it just was not cool enough to have a child murder. I seriously just lost a lot of hope for this film. |
"The point is, you don't know they suck unless you have seen them." No...I can usually tell if any movie is going to suck before I have seen it. They haven't even made a trailer or began filiming the remake of 'Footloose', and I'll bet you $100. that movie is going to suck donkey dicks. What you are calling open-mindedness sounds more like being gullible to me. |
If you read one of my earlier posts GI Dan, you would see where I said that if you go into a movie thinking it's gonna suck, chances are you're not gonna like it. That is what you seem to be doing with some movies. Did you like the original Footloose? If you didn't, chances are you're not gonna like this one. But, this goes back to what I have been saying. People are making prejudgements on movies that they have not even seen. That is not going in open minded. Thats all. |
When judging what movie I will or won't see I'll be as prejudice as I want to be. I'll save the "open-mindedness" for when it's needed. Not when determining whether or not to see the new Freddy movie. |
