Nothing about this movie will possibly interest me into seeing it whatsoever. the series died after part II (the last and only other good Saw movie)

They have the right to talk shit about Saw. Though most of it I don't agree with.

Fuck all you haters! Saw franchise is the greatest ever and doesn't need campy, corny sequels like Halloween, F13 and ANOES, which after a few sequels those movies went down hill. Saw Franchise never lost its greatness, Saw rocks. So fuck all u haters

I agree partially w/ Protecious. After Saw 2 & 3, there has been a missing element with all the following sequels. I think the first error was the premature revelation that Amanda was Jigsaw's apprentice. That should have been saved until part 3. Especially if the creators wanted to stretch the series so long. Second Jigsaw should have died at least by the beginning of Saw 4, to cut back on the use of extra flashback sequences. Lastly the late focus on Det. Hoffman is somewhat unsettling. In saw 5 I vaguely remember Hoffman having to prove himself worthy of his life. I think the creators are saving the worst kind of trap specially for Hoffman; and mark my words Jigsaw's wife is more demented than she's making herself out to be. Remember in part 4 she said Jigsaw left her long before she ever left him. Maybe losing baby Gideon made her snap in a different way from Jigsaw. Wonder if Amanda & Jigsaw's wife ever crossed paths. Wasn't Amanda a drug abuser. And wifey ran like a rehab clinic right? The series do like to show unexpected flasbacks tying loose ends. The mystery box probably explains how to set up and "Trap" Hoffman from Jigsaw or even Amanda before her death in part 3. Any takers on my conspiracy theory.

I have to admit Rampage I have persoanlly thought about that Jigsaw's wife is more demented than she puts out to be. I actually think she's a bigger character in this than we all think. I also will agree that after Leigh Whannell stopped writing the SAW movies, something did go missing. I also think that when Darren Lynn stopped directing, something went wrong. I mean, he helped keep SAW 4 afloat. Once he left, it was up to the actors to keep SAW 5 alive and they didn't do as well a job as I'd hope. I really think that with 5, the crew knew that most of the people who were there for the orignal trilogy were gone and they were the one's left to keep the movie alive, which can be a big burden and it caused them to hurt SAW 5. Now hopefully, they have learned from their mistakes and will make SAW 6 the ending (and god I hope this is the last one) that we all want to see. I maybe a die hard SAW fan, but if they make another one after 6, I'll be pissed. They have made enough sequals and the way they ended 5, 6 can be the end and I hope it is. But I will also admit Rampage, your Amanda/Jigsaw's wife theory is an awesome idea. I think that they do cross paths and I actually probably think that she and Jigsaw crossed paths while she was at the clinic too, assuming they use that idea. I mean it does make sense. Jigsaw sees this poor drug user who is throwing her life away and he will later test her too see if she is worthy of taking his place. I also have another theory. I honestly think that Jigsaw is not really the killer. I think it's his wife. I just think he is being the face of all of this to keep her safe and that in the box was, like you said rampage, the trap for Hoffman that she'll use when and if she thinks that he is not worthy to carry the Jigsaw name. I mean, she lost her unborn child. She lost a life growing in side of her, while she survived, and is showing people just how precious like can be and how you can lose it in an instant. Y'all may think I'm crazy, but when 6 comes out, and the twist is that Jigsaw's wife is really the killer, I will be the first to post a bulletin saying "I FUCKING TOLD YOU!!!"

I've always kinda been detached from the series a little after SAW III which was the last great one of the series but still continue to watch and love them. SAW owns and I have a feelin that VI with the return of Amanda is gonna be an awesome one! BRING IT ON!
