With the live-action adaptation of Blood: The Last Vampire hitting theaters overseas next month, before arriving here in the States this summer, a bunch of clips have found their way online at a few various sources. First, Yahoo! Japan is hosting the bloody first 5 minutes, while the official French site has a couple of clips that definitely aren't work safe. If you wanna be lazy you can watch 'em by reading on, courtesy of Twitch.
BLOOD, THE LAST VAMPIRE tells the story of a mysterious girl known as Saya (Gianna Jun), who is employed by a covert US government agency to eradicate a species of vampire-demons that is about to threaten mankind. Half-demon herself, and armed with just a samurai sword and a whole bunch of attitude, Saya kicks vampire ass like nobody you have ever seen before. Forget Blade, forget Buffy, and check out the trailer to witness, in action, the hottest and gutsiest vampire slayer ever to grace the screen.
Opening Scene
Clip 1: Sawa (Giana Jun) fights two vampire girls.
Clip 2: Sawa (Giana Jun) fights a horde of vampires.
Clip 3: Sawa (Giana Jun) reveals her true identity to Alice (Allison Miller).
alright, 1st, this looks amazing, 2nd, is this film in english? or is that opening scene just dubbed? if so they did a great dubbing job. lol but the look of the film is amazing!
I have kinda mixed feelings. I'm looking forward to it as a fan of the anime, and the opening scene as she stalked and split that dude in half got me pretty pumped, but once the dialogue started it seemed kinda hammy and cheap. Oh well, as long as the action kicks ass it'll probably be enough.
This looks ok, but I just hope they have been true to the anime film its based upon.
Coz that`s a piece of art.
