First reported here on B-D early last year is Michael Coonce's Lonely Joe, which follows a reporter who is stonewalled by an unfriendly small town sheriff when she tries to investigate mysterious disappearances stretching over 50 years. We learned today that the film is now available to download or buy over at the film's official website. The movie won "Best Thriller" at the Bare Bones Film Festival a few weeks back. I found Lonely Joe interesting enough to go to NuFilm and download the movie to an external hard drive and am doing so now.
