We've got a very special treat for you courtesy of David Harley who has just posted his exclusive one-on-one interview with Sandor Stern, the director of a little gem from 1988 called Pin (aka Pin: A Plastic Nightmare). In this low-budget descendant of Psycho, Ursula and Leon are sister and brother, living alone, save for a large wooden puppet they call "Pin" (for Pinocchio). When Ursula starts hanging around with new boyfriend Stan, Leon and Pin take action. Click the link above or below for this special interview.
I first saw "Pin" in high school and still think it's one of the most underrated horror/thrillers out there. Great film, really fun, and Canadian to boot! :)
Agreed. A sorely little known classic, exceptionally creepy with great performances from Hewlett and the legend that is Terry O'Quinn. If you haven't seen it seek it out immediately.
LOVE this film! The book is obviously alot more sinister. And in some ways i'm glad the films tones down ursula because in the book, ahe's not as naive as she is in the film.
Yes, big ups to Pin. I'd passed on the LD for years and finally picked it up on DVD. Shouldn't have waited, but it's easier to loan to friends this way.
