SYNOPSIS: Captain Will McKenna and marine biologist Arden Jaymes discover why the fishing village of Cedar Bay is being depleted of its resources. What’s been devouring the fish in the sea has come ashore in search of something more substantial: human flesh. Now, as a massive storm hurls toward Cedar Bay, cutting off all outside help and contact, a mythical battle is waged between man and beast. Only Will and Arden can stop it before the creatures continue devouring Cedar Bay. And beyond.
Sea Beast was written and directed by Paul Ziller from a story by Neil Elman. Lisa Hansen, Paul Hertzberg, Lindsay MacAdam and Kirk Shaw serve as executive producers, with Breanne Hartley as producer.
Actually Splinter was my favorite sci-fi original movie. But Sea Beast and 100 Feet though much worse. They were entertaining and interesting. Not good but interesting. I'll actually buy Sea Beast. That was the first movie of 2009 I watched that I liked. The first was Hit and Run, which was awful.
Splinter was great,Sea beast was oK,But it's no Ice Spiders or Rock Monster.Scifi Channel is bringing back films in the vain of Roger Corman's shlock from the 70's and 80's.These films are meant to be fun ,not win awards.Frankenfish was classic.
