The official website for Merchant Films has been updated with a massive cast listing for Darin Scott's Something Wicked. Shantel VanSanten (The Final Destination), John Robinson (Transformers), Brittany Murphy (Sin City), James Patrick Stuart, Julian Morris Julian Morris (Donkey Punch, Sorority Row), Betty Moyer, Lance Rosen, Robert Blanche, Jerry Buxbaum, Joe Feeney, October Moore, Angelique Perrin, Mike Hawkins, John Breen, Gilbert Martin del Campo and Patricia Malley Thacher have all joined the film, with an official synopsis available beyond the break. Shooting is now underway. Darin Scott's Dark House is currently in post-production.
“Something Wicked” is a current day action thriller set in a mid-size American community (Eugene, Oregon) in the Pacific Northwest. Christine and her boyfriend James have just graduated from Highland High School and are looking forward to enjoying their future together. Everything appears to be going well until Christine and James realize that she is being stalked by a psychologically tormented and obsessed young man, who in the end, will stop at nothing to be with her.
Another stalker psycho movie ? Sounds routine. I know it's difficult these days to come up with a story that is completely original, but this type of of story has been played out a thousand times. What's the twist? How will this be original ?
I've read the script several times and it certainly includes twists. They may not be too "unexpected" but from what I have heard from the production crew is that the scenes are not sticking to the original PG-13 plan.

some bad writing...but I was hoping it would be a remake for Something Wicked this Way comes as well
