Last week we brought you a video from behind-the-scenes of Alex Aja's Piranha, which featured the construction of a tank being built. Now, beyond the break you can check out some new behind-the-scenes stills exclusively from B-D. After a sudden underwater tremor sets free scores of the prehistoric man-eating fish, an unlikely group of strangers must band together to stop themselves from becoming fish food for the area’s new razor-toothed residents. But our heroine (Elisabeth Shue) is seriously outnumbered, and with only one chance to save the lake and her family from totally being devoured, she must risk everything to destroy the aquatic carnivores herself. Dimension has the film slated for release on March 19, 2010.
Check out Dread Central for another batch of stills and don't forget to watch the video over at BDTV:
What the hell are the bottom pics supposed to be? An aqueduct or dam? Looks pretty dry for Piranhas to be attacking people(mutant land-walking piranhas?).
OMG THEYRE NOT GONNA USE WATER IN THIS ONE!? IS THIS GONNA BE LIKE TREMORS TO ARE THE PIRANAHS GONNA GROW FEET!? DUURP!! Oh people are gonna have stupid comments.
They're quite obviously filling that excavation with water. I assume they will shoot some of the film using it as a set. Hooray for Shue. Loved her in Hollow Man.
those people working on the set are definitely getting in the way of the shot! GET OUT OF THE WAY!
ahahahahah
