Finally an update regarding 3-D thriller Dark Country, helmed by and starring Thomas Jane ("The Punisher"). it was announced this evening that while Nu Image has taken foreign rights to the film, Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions Group holds domestic rights and will release the film theatrically through a third party. Watch for an update soon. The pic co-stars Ron Perlman and Lauren German, and concerns newlyweds who find themselves on a hellish stretch of a Nevada highway. "Dark" was produced by Hyde Park's Patrick Aiello and Ashok Amritraj.
Sounds ok from what I just read.. I love ron perlman and Jane.. So we shall see.
