Updated: Third clip also added. May 29th is coming upon us faster than we can keep up, and the anticipation for Sam Raimi's big return to horror with Drag Me to Hell is through the roof. Universal has already begun screening the film to thousands of people (for free) and TV spots are airing non-stop... I think it's safe to say they're confident in their product. The question is, will the general public show up, or just horror fans? Hopefully word of mouth continues to propel this Evil Dead-esque masterpiece into something of legend. Universal has started unloading clips this week, but I want to stand firm in my belief that you should go into the movie having seen NOTHING. But it's your call, read on for the second clip featuring an annoying little fly.
i'm not watching the clip (i want to be completely, well, MOSTLY surprised. i watched the parking garage attack clip leaked from the comic-con last summer and i LOVED it.) i can't wait to see this!
I have to say, Sam Raimi is a mixed bag. Spiderman was good and the Evil Dead movies are classic but what about Xena and Hercules??? And who can remember The Quick And The Dead??? Ill reserve judgement at the moment but I think this looks kinda crap.
EEEE.... It could be good, however doubt it. It looks like it is going to appeal more to the teenager crowd and go with the traditional Hollywood scares. No psychological horror of getting in your head. Also that one guy from Mac commercials is in it so I will def. pass.
does have that hollywood cheese look about it,advance previews this week in the u.k,il be hope'n to be wrong, after all sam raimi getting back too the standard he deserves is cool
