Update: Creepshow will also be released on the same day. Warner Home Video has announced that they'll be releasing a trio of horror on Blu-ray September 8th. SNAKES ON A PLANE
Synopsis: A red-eye 747 flight out of Hawaii swooshes along at 30,000 feet toward L.A. Suddenly, there’s no pilot. Later, there’s no co-pilot. There are, however, snakes – hissing, slithering, attacking, venomous snakes. A crime boss has subverted security and planted the reptiles in order to bring the plane down, along with a witness slated to testify against the mobster in L.A. Can the FBI agent (Samuel L. Jackson) guarding the witness rally what’s left of the crew and passengers for a reptilian rumble in the jumbo? Buckle up, it’s going to be a bumpy fight.

If they didn't shoot it in high def, it really is just upconverted and tweaked. I love my Blurays, and many of them look great compared to DVD. But it is just a way to resell things we have already seen. How about they just start selling Memory Pro Duo discs with multiple resolutions available and settings dependent on what your specific tv is. It really isn't complicated. Slap VLC media player on a Portable drive that hooks to a UsB port on a new HDTV..... less space, better options, cheaper. Wait, that makes too much sense.
I need a new copy of the TCM remake. All i have is the original release. I was going to go buy the 3(?) disc set on DVD, but it looks like I'll be waiting for the Blu-Ray. Also, the Freddy vs Jason Blu-Ray is awesome. The transfer is incredible.
I can't wait to get TCM and FVJ on bluray! BluRay is dying? Hahaha..Didn't it beat HDDVD? It's not like reg DVD's are going to beat Bluray b/c they look like shit on all of the new TV's...Get with the times!
Cool ill be getting Freddy vs Jason and TCM.Though i thought snakes on a plane was a fun movie im not sure i want to get it on blu-ray when i got it on regular dvd.
