B-D reader Roger Galloway tipped off both Bloody-Disgusting and Dread Central to the fact that the great Christopher Lloyd has joined the quickly growing cast of Piranha 3D, which is currently lensing under the direction of Alex Aja. Lloyd, who you might remember as Dr. Emmett Brown in the Back to the Future franchise, will star as Goodman, an expert on piranha. A new type of terror is about to be cut loose on beautiful Lake Victoria. After a sudden underwater tremor sets free scores of the prehistoric man-eating fish, an unlikely group of strangers must band together to stop themselves from becoming fish food for the area’s new razor-toothed residents.
Here's a funny faux trailer for a movie called "Gobstopper", which stars Christopher Lloyd and Paul Scheer, who is also starring in Piranha:
wow I kinda of like the idea of this because growing up I always found Willy Wonka to be kind of scary so this is a great idea!! Having Christopher Lloyd play Wonka is an amazing idea!!
This film keeps topping itself with the casting. Just when I think it can't be better they go and add the great Christopher Lloyd who I loved as Professor Plum in the Clue movie.
I love how movies these days continually add members to the cast while already filming. Terminator comes out in the next week or so and still no one has a straight word on Arnold's involvement.
Bring it on. Christopher LLoyd freakin' rocks the crazies!
