this is going to be a comedy isn't it?

I'm not sure how I feel about this growing cast. I really hope that Alexandre Aja is able to pull this one out of the box, because the quality of his movies has dropped with each successive release. I loved HIGH TENSION, THE HILLS HAVE EYES was just ok, and MIRRORS was terrible. Let's hope that PIRAHNA 3D is the film that puts him back on top.

the cast so far is PERFECT! not A LIST but EXCELLENT actors nonetheless. and this is NOT a "comedy" but will be a fun, gory, rollercoaster ride type popcorn movie. so yeah, in that respect it's not a heavy, make-you-want-to-slit-your-wrists-or-vomit type horror movie.

i just realized who Paul Scheer was! LOL. he's actually REALLY funny on "BEST WEEK EVER" on VH1, but i assume his "comedy relief" is here and there and NOT constantly cracking jokes. at least i hope not! LOL.

Ugh, comedy relief? In a alex aja movie? I dont mind comedy in horror movies when its like dark comedy or something that feels natural but to just purposely inject comedy into it is nausiating at best. I just hope it doesnt turn out to be like the dumb, stupid, scared guy making smart ass remarks that make your eyes roll. Only time comedy and horror have actually worked is like in dead-alive or the toxic avenger and those are rare examples.

Nah, this guy knows what he's doing, he's hilarious! I think Pirahna is gonna be so fun.
