i hope this turns out at least good, if not great. i rewatched H1 last night and i liked it FAR less than i did originally. weird.

I'm a fan of Rob Zombie, and I'm pretty optimistic for H2, but Zombie pissed me off in this interview with all that bullshit about "I'm definitely NOT going to do an H3"....about a year ago he was definitely NOT going to do an H2, he was definitely NOT going to make a sequel to House of a Thousand Corpses, and every album he comes out with is going to be his last. Who the hell is he kidding? He loves money and publicity just like anyone else, and though there may not be an H3, he's being a bit too self righteous by saying he'll never even consider it...

is this a repost? i could've sworn i read this a couple of days or a day ago.

So Rob says he wont do a H3. He also said that he wouldn't do a sequel. Rob and Brad Fuller should hook up cause they both TALK SHIT !!! The scary thing is that Rob says he doesn't have to be true to the original with this sequel, hence Ghost Mom and Hobo Myers. This movie is going to stink

Yea i did not like the interview at all... he seemed like i douche ( FYI I thought this guy was cool n I actually liked the first film) N I dont understand how he doesnt know whats going on with his own film! Thats irresponsible and unprofessional in my opinion... I started off optimistic about H2, now I just dont know...

Zombie changed his mind and became interested in doing the follow-up. Nobody is allowed to change his mind; he is an obvious cock monger. Please don't ask me to explain that; he just is. While totally involved in the cutting of his new film, he doesn't seem aware of what the studio put together for the trailer or what title THEY will choose to release under. He must be stoned. He has long hair and is a cock monger, so he must always be stoned even though he had to shoot in a few months and has as long to edit and get ready for release. Anybody could do that. They should just reissue the first one. He's so stoned he thinks he has to do something new. I hate that. Death to all who reconsider what they previously thought and said. I just thought of something clever; let's all say "Hobo Myers" ten thousand times in unison.

i'm wondering if Zombie is just ACTING like he had no control over the teaser because of the fact that there seemed to be A LOT of negative response towards it. the SHERI parts alone (here & on SHOCK & on IMDB) were MOSTLY negative. and before i get bashed for being a "hater", i have NOTHING against Zombie and i'm STILL hoping the movie turns out, at the very least, good.

If you dislike RZ and his Halloween, then anything he says is interpreted as he sucks, he's stoned,doesn't know what he's doing, blah, blah. I am not a big RZ fan. I liked, not loved his vision of Halloween. That being said, it's not at all odd that once a movie is finished and turned into the studio that they control alot of how it's titled and marketed. The director does not always have final say on his own project. It's the studio who puts up the millions of dollars to produce the film, so why is it so hard to fathom that they would still be undecided and making decisions RZ has no idea about ? If you were to research a little bit, you would find out that RZ's unknowing some of the details is not at all uncommon for directors.

For a guy who's completing his "extreme vision" (aimed at "14-year old kid[s] in Wisconsin who live with [their] parents", apparently), "horror master" Rob doesn't seem to have too much interest or control over the film's eventual title or which particular scenes are in the trailer - which is odd, considering that those are the very things that will make first impressions with the cinema-going public.

RZ: I just separate myself from it. If someone says something bad, it doesn't mean anything, and if someone says something good, it doesn't mean anything. You just have to do what you're going to do. I was thinking about this the other day. Its not that you ignore everything, but it has to come from a source that you understand. When its just a person that you don't know that has an opinion, its pretty meaningless in a way. WOW,what an asshole.Its like he doesn't respect anyone's opinion if he doesn't know them personally cause he then thinks their opinion is meaningless cause he thinks they don't know what their talking about.This is why things keep going bad cause he just doesn't care it seems pretty much about how people feel.I can't respect someone who thinks OUR opinions and thoughts are meaningless and how we feel about what he is doing with halloween.Grow up RZ.Halloween isn't just about you.We all love it and you should care about what we think and how we feel about the franchise. There's other little things I could pick out that sorta bothered me but I don't feel like it.From what I understand though from what he said is this.I don't care about what someone feels I should do and I don't care what any fan wants in a Halloween movie,this is my movie and I could not give a fuck if you are happy with it or not as long as I get to make my movie. ZOBIES VISION ON HALLOWEEN IS EXTREMLY WELL DONE IMO.. IF YOU WATCH HIS REMAKE, AND LOOK AT THE CAMERA SHOTS, THE WAY HE CAPTURED THE MASK ON DIFFERENT ANGLES, THE WRITING WAS WELL DONE..

Once you start listening to the fans and especially the "haters" and change things around, the movie becomes a mess. Well, not necessarily, but most of the time. He needs to make it his own movie, his style, his version. Which I enjoy very much. It needs to be different. It's 2009 not 1978. I keep viewing the trailer and the whole mommy thing doesn't bother me at all.

I love it that Zombie just doesnt give a shit about what people think and just wants to do his thing. I would do the same. He just makes the movie he wants to make and nothing else matters. I like that. And also loved how he explained why he makes it so different. Its what I am preaching here about remakes and its sequels all the time. Also I like it that he doesnt give a fuck whats in the trailer. he just doesnt focus on these things. he just focus on the movie and the movie only and lets nothing bother or influence him in his vision. Especially today it takes a lot of guts to do that as a director. Especially when you work on an already existing franchise. But I like it. Why should he care what people think or say or whats in a 2 minute trailer which is beyond his control anyway? He is completely right just to laugh at all that bullshit and just focus on his vision of the movie and to bring that onscreen on august 28th. I would do exactly the same. you people who are whining about what he said again are just pissed that he doesnt give a fuck what you think and laughes in your face. Also I still need to ask: Why do you people who obviously hate Rob and the movie sooooo much do you even bother to read the goddamn interview? You are so full of contradiction,its unbelievable. Well if Rob doesnt do H3 very very certainly someone else will. The Halloween franchise will not end. Especially with all the other franchises like Hellraiser,Friday or Nightmare just restarting recently or in the very near future. So there definitely will be an H3. But I wonder if Rob intents to finish with H2 does that mean that basically all the characters are gonna die in this one (Like he did in Devils rejects)? And I still wanna know if Bill Moseley is now in the movie or not.

See,I even believe he's a half assed good enough director to kill everyone off like in "Rejects"-we just dont need to hear "Free bird" while he does it-he gets credit for knowing exactly what he wants,and having the control to get it as a director...I dont hate Zombie,but in watching his movies,I'm left going "what the fuck,man?" rather than being blown away...I take what he says and the films he makes with a HUGE grain of salt.....
