Yeah but maybe people would love it - who knows?? I actually suggested that when I wrote a treatment for a remake that my manager sent to Trancas a few years back. Laurie would have been killed mid-way through and Annie later revealed to be his sister. I've always liked the idea of that and now especially after Harris took on the role as she was the only saving grace in Zombie's remake...IMO.

I would love it if Laurie was killed off and Annie became the focal point of the story. I'm sorry, but Scout was annoying as hell in the first film, and Danielle Harris is a legacy. I hope she continues on in the films.

It will be Tommy. Its pretty much a done deal, there were no other people that could do it and lets be fair, whilst Zombie looks set to destroy the film outright anyway he might aswell just rip off Friday the 13th whilst he is at it.

If the trailer might give us a clue, that would mean the unlikley hero could only be Annie, the new friend (that blonde girl), a unknown cop, or Michael him self. It can't be Loomus, or Laurie, or Brakkit because Brakkit get hung by Michael. And at the end of the trailer (correct me if I am wrong) but did Laurie say " Iam not strough enough mom"? Could it be Debrah Myers???
