No its not a pic its from the old films. I dont think freddy will have his spook house in this one if they make it close to the original. It should be all based in schools and boiler rooms. I wanna see Jackie as freddy I wanna see what he wil look like TODAY!!!

I'm so glad they are restarting this series. The story line didn't make sense anymore. If we wanted to see any more Freddy movies, this needed to be done.

Yeah... Hopefully this will bring the series back to scary as opposed to wacky and witty with ridiculous death scenarios which plagued the later films. I too am curious as to what Freddy's look will be. And not to mention the infamous Elm Street (Nancy's) house...

Sooooo excited!! I haven't seen any of the remakes in theaters so far, but this one has alot of personal significance so I'll be there opening night!

BRAD FULLER should just keep his BIG MOUTH SHUT. i used to admire the guy but he talked up and used such hyperbole with the FRIDAY movie AND dvd (it's going to be "amazing and a whole different movie"/it has all these "inventive"/bloody kills. we got NONE of that in the movie and i am not sure 9 minutes of more sex is going to make the DVD "amazing"). i was SO on board w/ FRIDAY but Fuller pisses me off now. i don't trust ANYTHING he says. the MBV3D remake was a MILLION times more bloody/gory than ANYTHING in FRIDAY.

I'm calling it! This movie is dead on arrival,but just to be safe we better pull the plug.

Too bad the script sucks. They dropped the ball on this one. They made Freddy just a molester. That's bad in and of itself, but come on, Freddy killed children. This could have been something brutal and edgy, but they've opted out of that. The script reads like a standard teen slasher flick, with nothing that sets it apart from the rest. This could have been something good. I'm pissed.

This movie should never happen and it is an absolute disgrace to The Nightmare on Elm Street series and to the true fans of the Nightmare on Elm Street series. Jackie Earle Haley is no Robert Englund and Jackie Earle Haley is no Freddy Krueger. If Jackie Earle Haley did have any kind of career he just killed it replacing Robert Englund as Freddy Krueger because that is just spitting in the faces of all the true fans of the original Nightmare on Elm Street and to all those who made the original Nightmare on Elm Street.

I'm just excited to see how Jackie handles the part of Freddy

To be honest, Jackie Earl Haley will probably be the best thing about the film. He's a great actor, and he'll be able to pull off the role convincingly. I just wish the script was better.

Fuck this movie. I love Freddy Krueger, have since I was a kid, but Jesus Fucking Christ, a remake without ROBERT ENGLUND??? It's gonna suck. They can remake Jason movies all they want because the asshole has no personality, but to recast Freddy when the original actor is alive and well??? BIG MISTAKE NEW LINE and PLATINUM DUNES!

Im not happy with the casting of Nancy..I know someone else who would be a much better Nancy.
