I saw this before every saw movie "i hope they finally tighten it up and it all makes sense" but im usually let down.. this is there last chance i do believe.

That seems to be the synopsis for all the Saw movies except the detective/agents names change.

Besides the first 3 saw has continually gotten worse. I wouldnt be suprised to see this and wonder why it wasnt just a dvd release.

The actor who portrayed Hoffman couldn't carry one movie, let alone a second. Whose bright idea was it to make such a charisma-free zone the new criminal mastermind of the series?

yeah I agree, should have been a straight to dvd release if anything. Let this series go already.

Finish the fucking series. I love SAW but geez its getting old. Finish one the sixth then 20 years later we will have a remake to bitch about.

this series really is awful now (IMO). i held off saying that for forever because i hadn't seen 4 or 5 until recently and NOW i can say with conviction, STOP!!!!! lol. part 5 is one of THE lamest movies i've ever seen (Prom Night is tied with that "title". LOL). i'll check this out online or a rental simply because i LOVE Shawnee and i watched SCREAM QUEENS and i want to see how Tenedra (the winner) does! also, LIONSGATE would rather do SAW 467 than a sequel to MBV3D?!! that's cheesy.

If people would stop actually seeing this stuff in the theater they probably would end it. But until 16 year old fan boys who think SAW is the hardest and smartest horror movie out there stop hitting the theater, we are all stuck with more sequels. I know Jigsaw's evil plan - To screw the public out of money by feeding mediocre-poor sequels to them until they are so sick of the series they kill themselves out of shame for being duped into 10 hours of sequels that explain 5 minutes of plot.

Yes this is what I've been waiting for. Say what you will about SAW but it still manages to bring something to the table each and every year and even all you haters will miss it once it is gone. Regardless of whether or not this is the last one VI will answer the lingering questions from the second trilogy and bring everything full circle. What happens from there on, only Lionsgate knows.

Jcoles, i respect the fact you like these movie. no problem. but i will NEVER in a million years miss this franchise (and i'm sure i'm not alone). but that shouldn't suggest that one view is "right" and the other's it "wrong". to each his/her own. but part 5 was ATROCIOUS (and i say that having been hopeful it would be good. it was one of the worst if not THE WORST of the bunch.).

Part 2 was my favorite by far...then they started to go downhill...I am stoked to see my girl Amanda on the big screen once again...flashbacks or not (maybe she didn't really die!)...but other than that i could really give a shit...LOL

I like saw. Gives me something to look forward to every year.

what a stupid official description ... SAW V all over again ... I can't wait, I love SAW... @all: if there are so many people hating this franchise then simply don't go and watch this movie, but still 70 % of the haters will watch it. and also, if i dont like something i dont post my opinion on it, I just leave it and the people who like it alone.

thats why they call the films Saw because you saw them already. but if the weekend is boring and the dvd selection is low then I might watch it.

The last installment let me down as a Saw movie (I did dig some of the gore, but that was about it).. I hope they really concentrate on satisfying people who have been fans of the series and the plot twists/ blood and guts that made the first 4 entertaining (for me at least). I REALLY want to see Dr.Gordon again too, sonicheroesfan1!!
