Ving Rhames the Latest to Get His Ankles Bit By 'Piranha'

After reading Devin of CHUD's code of web ethics, I can't believe how insanely hard it was to find the actual source for the following story. Apparently, The New York Post's "Page Six" discovered that Ving Rhames will be joining Elisabeth Shue and Adam Scott in Alex Aja's remake of Piranha in 3-D. In addition, the Mohave Daily News has posted a casting call for Dimension's redo that the production is looking for nearly 1,500 extras. You can read more by clicking the link provided. Rhames has starred in a slew of genre pics from the remake of Dawn of the Dead to Day of the Dead.

i heard this a couple last week at SHOCK but hey, good news is good news! i'm stoked Ving is in this he was awesome in DAWN (and even DAY!) OF THE DEAD! so he'll add some clout to this movie (which i'm SO excited for!). but i must say, after PIRANHA 3D, i hope Aja gets back to a serious horror movie (like HIGH TENSION or HILLS and NOT like MIRRORS or PIRANHA).
