One of the most anticipated horror films of 2009 is Lars von Trier's Antichrist, which stars Willem Dafoe and Charlotte Gainsbourg as a grieving couple who retreat to ’Eden’, their isolated cabin in the woods, where they hope to repair their broken hearts and troubled marriage. But nature takes its course and things go from bad to worse… The film is set to debut at this year's Cannes and to celebrate we got our hands on five brand new hi-res images from the pic that is based on the theory that it was Satan, not God, who created the world (wowsers).
Never seen a Von Trier movie, so something tells me I'm in for a treat with this one. Almost all the shots in that trailer look gorgeous. Might see if I can find some other Von Trier movies now.
ow.. very cool. never thought ide say i wanna see a movie based on screenshots alone... but those caps look amazing. Now I guess I should watch the trailer! (lol)
oh and to anyone who has not seen this guys work... Go Get Dogville... still holds as one of my favorite movies ever made (and an actually awesome role by Kidman for once!) -- the "sequel" Manderlay was good too, but nearly AS good.
