I think zombie will step it up on the sequel because he kinda of stumbled a bit with the remake. I cant blame him for the few miss steps with the remake however. Halloween bares alot of expectations from every fan of the genre. thats alot of pressure. the original is very entertaining and I feel the sequel will be badass.

this film looks like a zillion times better than the first one, like he said, there is more freedom is this one, he can go anywhere with the sequel Rob Zombie rocks!!!

A lot of these shots are from the first part of the movie. I want to see some of the later shots including the new mask. This shit is driving me crazy I wanna see how different the new mask is all that shit. Granted they are just in the point of putting it toether, but Im sure they can pull a still or two.

Even that mr. zombie is only making the first scene in haddonfield memorial,its an awesome homage to the original h2 which is very cool, I know we don't even have a trailer yet, but h2 is definely my most anticipated movie of 09' cant wait to see where it goes now that we know micheal can take a .44 slug to the face the possibilities are limitless!

I was built of for the first one and then let donw. So I just can't get any good vibe from this one until I see it. I don't want to be let down again.

i sent this to Mr.D/ it does look like homage to the original Halloween 2, just like in the teaser for ET with laurie running down the hallways, and the one video interview where we see laurie behind a fence in the boiler room with michael in persuit. def. good homage with great originality involved. cant wait for this.

to everyone that talks bad about this... Hasn't it been proven that when Zombie gets to do what he wants 100%, that the movie is freaking amazing? Evidence: The Devil's Rejects, House of 1,000 Corpses, and upcoming The Haunted World of El Superbeasto I rest my case

He is releasing a lot of pictures from the beginning of the film from the looks of everything if this is in fact the hospital and it must take place within the first 20 mins of the film so I'm just anxious to see the other 70-80 mins worth.

Awesome. I agree that RZ's Michael is pretty damn menacing. My one complaint was I thought Michael should be a normal statured guy instead of 7 feet tall. It would be more believable. But Tyler does a great job and the mask is THE BEST since Carpenter's.

What is up with all the I love H2 It looks better then the 1st one spamers everytime a new Halloween post comes along? Something doesn't seem right? It's like Zombie has all these accounts.

I like house of 1,000 corpses, because it was a cool old school horror flick. I didn't like DR's, but I think I would've have liked it if he would've just gave it new characters, because those characters didn't fit with the first film. It was forced. Halloween had some good moments, but not many, it was a bad movie (not in a good way). The back story of little mike and his stripper mom was stupid. The ending wasn't good. The best part was the black truck driver. That was funny as hell. This movie will either be tolerable or horrible. I think it will be better than the first one, if Zombie will just stay away from sappy shit. He needs to make this movie mean and viscious, take out the melo-drama, and make it darker. Put his own weird flavor he put in 1000.... (which was made on a low.. low... budget, that's another reason I liked the film. The movie was excellent considering what he had to work with and the studio dropping in the middle of shooting). I'm sure he has learned a lot since his last attempt in regards to what works and what doesn't. I hope he does a great job, because we need weird people to make movies that aren't boring, but if they're bad; well.. what good are they? We'll just have to wait and see.

I just watched Halloween 2 a few days ago and this DOES look like a pic from the set of that film. DEFINATELY stoked... However, I do wish it strays far from Halloween 2.

I've been a big Rob Zombie fan since the beginning, and I'll be the first in line to see H2. But... I'm starting to get a little sick and tired of the redneck white trash hillbilly aspects of his films. It was bad enough to see that Michael was born into this type of family, but now we get a "Hobo-Myers"? It also sounds like he scripts his films to incorporate his wife, Sheri Moon Zombie. Do we REALLY need to see flashbacks to Michael's mother? Sounds like Zombie's just doing it to keep wifey working as opposed to what the best story would be.

I can't wait to see this movie.

I agree with PIII but personally i think this is the best Myers so far! Tyler Mane is fucking huge, and the mask and brown boiler suit look sick. I know it will never happen but i'd love to see the new Myers vs the new Jason!
