Over at BDTV or beyond the break you can now check out a high quality look at the first footage from Rob Zombie's H2: Halloween 2, which premiered last night on Entertainment Tonight, the show that obvious appeals to the most Michael Myers fans in the world (yes, that's sarcasm). The best part of the footage is that after it plays, the editor replays the entire clip in slow motion for those of you looking to nit-pick the hell out it. Love it...God I can't wait...definitely the movie I'm most looking forward to this year...please let Zombie at least round this out as a trilogy...we all know that as soon as someone else takes this rebooted franchise over it'll be destroyed...
All that footage takes place within the first 15 minutes of the film, just about. He doesn't have the mask after that, (for the most part) including the resolution. I don't this at all. LOL I'm tired.
No it does'nt take place the first fifteen minutes of the film the Danielle Harris footage takes place in the middle of the film.She becomes an agoraphobic after the events two years prior and mikey dons the hooded sweatshirt with the mask after two years of being in the woods.So what you heard about him not wearing the mask is just gonna be him with the hood and mask underneath.So for example if they show a scene of him stalking and is shown from the back all you will see is the hood.Pay attention to what RZ says in interviews.
Has anyone noticed that in the last shot of michael, half his mask was sown back on/patched up? It's very different, but definitely ups the creep factor. This is probably the radical difference that has been talked about. I dig it!
I really am not quite so sure why so many people are obsessed with Danielle Harris, what is the big deal? She has done nothing special. Anyway, the clip looked great when slowed down, I really hope this movie ups the scare factor, sadly, the first film just was not scary, let's hope a change has been made there.
honestly narcissusween, it looks like a good portion of the mask is flat out gone and or missing, if you pause close to the very end, you can see his face on his right side, I think so at least. You could be right, it may be patched back on.... but your right, it really does up the creep factor.
People are obsessed with Danielle Harris because they grew up watching her HALLOWEEN movies, had their testes crushed by her (metaphorically speaking) during their adolescence and now that she (and they) have grown up, well, there's the obsession.
She never did anything for me, personally (obviously), but I think that's why.
All that aside, I can't WAIT to see this movie. I loved the first one (who else but someone who loved it would slog through the entire second disc on the blu-ray? and watch both cuts?). It looks great. August can't come soon enough!
You watch, people have been wondering about annie in this film and why they havnt heard anything. Robs definantly going to kill her off in this film, probably earlier on is my guess because the video interviews with scout and those two other girls never included annie or anything.
I cant believe how everyone is overanalyzing this footage thats not even a full min. Im extremly excited for the movie, based on the fact alone that Rob Zombie is involved. :-)
