B-D member GoliathSlasher just tipped us off to Rob Zombie's MySpace blog where he has hosted a brand new image from Halloween 2 that features Michael Myers (Tyler Mane) on a rampage in a hospital -- I wonder if he's coming for Laurie? Filming is already complete on the new film that picks up right as the first remake ended, following the aftermath of Michael Myers' murderous rampage through the eyes of the sister he hunted.
Rob Zombie writes:

Although you've asked over five hundred questions many of them are the same questions over and over. So here's the answer to the first question that keeps getting asked.
"Is this movie a remake of Halloween 2 ?"
The answer is no. This movie has nothing to do with the movie that came out back in 1981. The only thing slightly the same is my film has a brief hospital scene at the top of the film and even that is 100% different. These are all new characters and all new situations. This is not a remake of a sequel, this is the continuing story of the Halloween I started. So hopefully that clears up that confusion.
Now I present a killer moment from the above mentioned hospital scene."
wow. Man, I have NO idea what to expect from this movie! Some things look great, other things completely out of left field. I hated the remake, but this sequel has me intrigued enough to check it out.

I totally agree with Justin Warren! Hated the first but Rob doing his own movie has got me really interested.I just hope he sticks more to Michael...the old Michael!!! Bc I really like Rob's other movies and music.He is genious! Just didnt care for his remake.

I could not agree more i'm obsessed with Rob's other movies,i am really hoping this movie is good and i guess since we have nothing to compare this movie to he really can be original, and creative... i hope
