Hey, Zanuck said that he would be producing it. Everyone knows who Richard Zanuck is, don't they? Look it up! He said with a firm tone, "Dark Shadows" will be Tim Burton's next film. That's THE MONEY MAN there talkin' and if Burton wants to continue making his cute, Goth, quirky flicks that barely make their money back, I would suggest he hop on the "vampire band-wagon" with Depp and make a hit!

Oh I'd love it! What could be better than 2 big Tim Burton epics the same year?

This is indeed promising news. Not sure why Warner choosed to make an announcement about this development in Japan first and not in the United States. I mean it should be a universal announcement. In any event it is real good to hear about this here.

yeah, this is excellent news. I seem to remember that this has been on their burners for many a year. Hopefully this leans more to dark and serious rather than dark and goofy / melodramatic.

All I can say is Yeah and Yeah again!!! Both Alice and Dark Shadows with 2 of my favorite guys!!! I am in dark chocolate girly heaven!
