I cant stand clowns (this means you, Capt "well, shit the bed" Spaulding)unless they are dead/dying...at any rate,the house looks as it should I suppose,have you guys seen the original Myers house? Its actually a nice looking house,though I serously doubt I'd really step foot in it,it creeps me out,I've head a group of friends made one of the scariest movies of all time there many years ago....am I wrong? Nope,not at all...

The house does look similar to the one used in the first. Maybe this "clown" being bloody and all is a Michael victim, or perhaps Michael himself bleeding from his wound in a clown disguise ? I could be WAY OFF.

I'm glad it looks the same. One of my biggest pet peeves about the series was the dramatic change in house from Halloween 1 and 2 to Halloween 5.

You can tell they used the same houses in 77 and 1981,after the complete shit sandwich part 5,I stopped paying attention,I'm sure it was a different place in part 8...

although I don't like the frequent reports of the wohle phantom jam stuff I gotta admit that this clown looks pretty awesome. I just wonder how much we will see of him in the final or even the Directors cut of the movie.

The Phantom Jam is a party in the movie

As slapyou postulated, The Phantom Jam is the big Haddonfield Halloween party at which Capt. Clegg and the Night Creatures perform. It's hosted by Uncle Coffins and everyone goes in costume. Clown is just another party-goer. Scout/Laurie goes dressed as Magenta. I think some things are going to go down at the Jam.

H2's teaser trailer will be attached to the Crank movie on Friday. Can't wait to see it (online).

The more I see of this movie, the more I'm inclined to just not give a shit anymore. I loved Devil's Rejects, but Rob Zombie just isn't the right guy for the Halloween franchise. His Halloween remake was an abysmal trainwreck filled with squandered potential, clearly made by someone who didn't have a clear vision of what they wanted to do with the movie, and this just looks like more of the same.

The halloween remake was terrible. They really needed a director that could give a touch of class and respect to the series. I am just not into the white trash, torture porn thing that Zombie is into. It really turned Halloween from a spooky, creepy series into this backwoods, trailer park homage. Thumbs down!

I liked Zombie's vision of Halloween. For those who are so dead against it, please tell what they believe should have been done to make it better. And could have helmed the reboot. Any takers

Damn, the remake was so much better than the originals, and this looks likes it's going to be even better. They should take the originals and bury them deep in the ground and just let Zombie take over. His vision is sooooo much better than Carpenter's ever was. LONG LIVE REMAKES!!! BRING EVEN MORE OF THEM ON!!!!! :)
