I'm getting really hairy thinking about this movie.

I love how Bart had to just jump in there because Soboroff wasn't asking him any questions.

Sounds like it's going to be pretty cool. I'm glad to see Rob Zombie taking this franchise serious after all those other directors from the previous films drove into the ground. Hopefully this will keep the door open for MORE movies to be remade.

Well said Cr8kenstein, this series was drove into the ground along time ago, and atleast RZ is trying something new and making it his own. That's what he was supposed to do. The Carpenter original is classic and needed to be left alone, and although Rob used some of the ideas, scenes, characters from the original, he also brought alot of brand new elements, which wether you liked or not, was the right way to go. I applaud his effort and think this sequel will be entertaining.

How is ZOMBIE TAKING IT SERIOUS???? Loomis is a money hungry author with weird al on a show.

Ok Im not one of these goon haters thats gonna read everything about this movie and trash it just cause I feel like being a knob. That being said I liked the first Halloween the only thing throwing me off here is how Rob says this doesnt follow anything before this is its own thing. Ok thn what I dont get is the Hospital setting, and the video interview with Wayne they say they built a body for a car accident. There is a lot here that is like the old Halloween 2. Also I hope these dream sequences they are talking about are nothing like the ones in House of 1000 corpses. I feel like Rob is gonna do a trilogy of this cause he is in no way shooting down a third one. Anyway real pumped about this movie I think it will be good ust voicing not concerns just confusions.

Funny you mention a car accident. I read on another blog where the writer said that she watched as they were filming a scene with a car "with the heroes in it" leaving town (Haddonfield).

I can't believe Rob would do this. Why didn't he just take the story and create a new movie and call it something else. there doesn't need to be 2 separate Halloweens. The original was great why call it Halloween if its nothing like Halloween. He's acting like the other Halloweens never existed. I kind of think that's a slap in the face to the Halloween movies.

losing interest.

Rob should have called it THE HALLOWEEN KILLER, ditch Michael Myers, and called his new masked killer Marven Myham. I will buy this one, but I don't think it deserves to be in my HALLOWEEN collection. I think I'll put it in my Rob Zombie collection because it's not a HALLOWEEN movie, just some stupid crap Rob thought of!

Personally I like the title "The hillbilly murders" This film is shaping up to be worse then the first one. If you guys are lucky, they'll show two buttholes in this film, instead of just one like the last film.

Showtime,I agree ,there r some huge mistakes being made with this movie. If he truly thinks Micheal walking around in his white mask is tired, then why make a Halloween movie.

Zombie just spit in our face, but well get our revenge with those boxoffice results.

WHY!!! Why do directors of these remakes feel the need to "humanize" the villian!!! I don't want Michael Myers to make sense to me. I want to fear him! Leave him a mystery! This just goes to show Zombie is a hack! He doesn't get it. He already screwed up one...wanna make a bet he screws this one up too!?

3/4 of the original halloween movies dont belong in my Halloween Collection, its nice to see something new and yes when you do something like this, you wanna act like it hasnt been done before !!!!

I don't understand why you think it will suck? And why would he want to keep making the same old MM? I am glad he is putting a twist on it and making something the same but different. I don't personally want to watch the same movies over and over but updated. And this movie will be a success at the box office 30+ million opening weekend. And i laugh when people say he is stupid and a bad director...fact is that he is a better director then we will ever be...so if you can do a better job get to it... AUG 28TH!!! HELL YEA

If your a true Halloween fan u want be bored by Micheal walking around in his white mask,u expect it.I cant imagine anyone saying they think its cool that hes being humanized and walking around with a beard and no mask. He's fucked up,plain and simple.
