Weird Al and Loomis Appear on The Newman Hour

The most odd casting in Rob Zombie's Halloween 2 was Weird Al Yankovic, who plays a guest on "The Newman Hour." Today Rob posted a pic that features both Weird Al and Malcolm McDowell on the talk show. "Dr. Loomis is clearly out of his comfort zone as he takes on Weird Al during his appearance on The Newman Hour. It's tough hawking those books," Zombie exclaims. Check out the image beyond the break.

It's not hard to imagine how this bit of weirdness will be received by some here. But let's not forget - Dick Cavett and Zsa Zsa Gabor were in NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET 3.

yeah that was in a cool scene in nightmare 3

Weird Al rules! Don't forget, he had that awesome Slasher spoof song "Nature Trail to Hell"!

I personally have never liked Al and he annoys me. But that being said just because he makes an appearance has no affect on wether the movie will be good or not. I would love for MM to slash his fuckin neck in the movie though!!!!

The reason Dick and Zsa Zsa worked was because it was part of a dream sequence.

Loomis does look nonplussed. The talk show host, by the way, is Chris Hardwick from 1000 Corpses. Ok, commence whining about how Mr. Zombie continues to utilize his troupe of actors.

The reason their comedic bits worked was because they were in a dream sequence. But until the scene turned weird, there was nothing wrong with having them on the television set as talk show host and guest.

The more I see about this movie, the more it looks like an incomprehensible mess. Zombie might still prove me wrong. I did like the first one a lot better than I expected to. However, nothing I have seen, except for that awesome shot of Michael with his mask all torn up, has made me remotely excited about this movie.

Gotta love Loomis' "WTF" expression in that pic.

This is such a stupid thing to bitch about, but I liked Malcolm with the beard better. I know a retarded thing to say. I wonder if Loomis is gonna have some kind of persisting migrain or somethin cause of his head being crushed.

I also wonder in the dvd release of this how many F-bombs Malcolm will let fly that shit was funny as hell in the blooper reel. How can you not like weird al? Who doesnt like to smoke a little green and watch UHF. Honestly?

What slays me is the constant complaints that 1) there were too many news updates that were 2) irrelevant, and 3) didn't disclose any real juicy spoilers on the actual movie, yet those same folk bash the movie on the basis of these tidbits that they themselves bashed for not really having any real baring on the flick...huh? All news, pics, rumors, interviews, etc are out of context. The truth will be in the sum of those parts, as a whole completed movie, until then, all this means nothing and can't really be judged. I for one don't want any major spoilers. When i walk out of the theater, then i will praise or slam this film, but I intend to see it 1st.

This is truly not a HALLOWEEN movie, just some kind of crap Rob thought of. He should ditch Michael, and call him Marven Mayham. And not call it HALLOWEEN. Call it THE HALLOWEEN KILLER.

finally an image of Loomis. Man has he sunken deep or what? Being on talkshows promoting his exploitation of these tragic events? Hope he redeems himself somehow otherwise he would truly deserve to die.
