Arriving in theaters July 24 from Warner Bros. Pictures is Orphan, the latest feature from Dark Sky Films. Today the MPAA announced that the film has officially been given an R-rating for "disturbing violent content, some sexuality and language." In other news, it looks like Sony is finally looking to release the Spanish masterpiece REC later this year as the film was also rated R for "bloody horror violence and language." Lastly, the official Tribeca Film Festival selection Tell-Tale was given an R for "violent content, language and a scene of sexuality." Click any title above for more info on each film.
Any horror flick that gets a rating for "disturbing, violent content" is solid in my book. They don't have to be ultra violent to be great ( Carpenter's Halloween), but it sure gets your interest in seeing it.
LOL two of those don't count. REC is fuckin older then my g-ma and I well WTF is tell-tale. And Orphan should be sick that girl creepys me to no end. Little bitch
FINALLY! Someone acquires [REC]! I WANT THE DVD NOW! I have been waiting for this movie for so long! With both [REC] and All The Boys Love Mandy Lane (both acquired by Sony) possibly coming soon or later this year, it looks as if my wish is coming true. THANK YOU, SONY!
Anybody who wants [.REC] just go to HKFlix, its 14$ for the bareboned edition, theres also a special edition. Got mine off their eBay auction, glad I finally made the jump, AWESOME movie!
So what are you talking about, Rec has been out for so long I can actually go down to Rogers right now and rent it or drive to Best Buy and buy it.
