Last week Bloody-Disgusting's Jeff Otto took a trip down to Georgia to witness the filming of Rob Zombie's Halloween 2 firsthand. While he wasn't allowed to take any photos of Zombie, or the cast, he was able to snap a few shots of the sets and surroundings, all of which can be found inside. In addition, you'll also find IGN's behind-the-scenes video footage that features an interview with Scout Taylor-Compton (Laurie Strode). Watch for our report from set in the coming weeks.

he was the man maybe when he did one of the best horor films in the last 25 years with the film The Devils Rejects but he has become Mr. Hollywood, horror's version of Tarantino!Ego the killer of greatness.

Devils rejects was not a horror film. It was more of a terror-thriller but I would not call the movie a horror film. The interview was great. Scout just is so cute and sweet and comes across like a really wonderful person. The more I see her,the more I love her.

Great interview and some teaser photos to boot. Those of you have been complaining about not getting enough actual production info.... happy now? As for the whole anytown thing. It's still Haddonfield, watch the interview, it picks up EXACTLY where H1 left off. If anything he's probably just taking us to the outskirts of town. What do you usually find at the outskirts of a town? ummmm fields, farms, trees... unless you live around a major city this IS what the edge of town looks like... I'm pretty excited to see Rob taking what he started with the first film and flying straight into the next one with no lapse in time. That way it'll intense from jump, just look at all those bloody teens in the video!!!

The rural settings will be a great help to this film

Keegsta what are you talking about? She was well spoken and answered her questions intelligently. What exactly were you looking for? It was 2 inutes long for god sakes... And before you start calling people idiots take a minute to think up something clever and constructive to say to say. Back up your accusations or your the one who comes off sounding ignorant.

I wasn't a huge fan of the first. I mean, it wasn't horrible to watch, I just always saw Michale Myers as a killer with no motivation. I mean he was a heartless bastard in the first one with no reasoning to do what he did, and thats how I liked it. It is the unknown what made it so terrifying. I will go check this out because the first one did have some good elements of horror and I think what Scout said is right, Rob can truly make this his film and his carry out his vision of the story.

The locations feel more like some of the locations from Halloween 5, like the barn, middle of nowhere stuff.

Man, I really have NO idea what to expect from this film at all. I will definitely say that I didn't enjoy the remake--I thought many parts in it were decent, other parts downright shameful. However, something about this sequel keeps interesting me.

Naw,all kidding aside,Scout Taylor-Compton did pretty good as Laurie so its cool....now her voice made me think of nails on a chalk board, but she did seem bubbly & naive-which was the point, but when she fucking screamed I thought my kidneys would explode

p.s. i LOVE that creepy, lonely picture of the barn. with atmospheric settings like that used in this movie, it's going to be AWESOME!

the hospital part looks like its going to be sick... i said it weeks ago; myers is going to be in the hospital morgue, laurie and annie are going to be in the hospital also; (thats when annie is going to bite it!)then michael goes missing or is supposed to be dead, and returns

Goliath, that's an interesting theory. I'm so excited for this movie. I'm torn between wanting to know absolutely everything about this film and just waiting for August 28th to arrive. Either way, I can't wait for sh't to go down. Keep the news coming BD.
