Will Arnett & Michael Shannon Head to the Old West For ‘Jonah Hex’
If you weren’t already excited for Warner Bros. horror western Jonah Hex, the latest casting should be enough to send any fan of “Arrested Development” overboard. The Hollywood Reporter announced today that both Will Arnett (“Arrested Development”, Monsters vs. Aliens) and Michael Shannon (Bug, Dead Birds) will join Josh Brolin, John Malkovich and Megan Fox in the adaptation of the DC comic book. In addition, they report that the studio is already planning on spinning this film into a franchise! Read on for the skinny.

Maika Monroe stars as eccentric governess Winifred Notty, who arrives at a remote gothic manor where strange happenings stir suspicion that she’s not what she seems.
Thomasin McKenzie (Last Night in Soho), Jason Isaacs (Honey Bunch), Ruth Wilson, Amy De Bruhn, and “Hamnet” breakout Jacobi Jupe also star.
Zachary Wigon (Sanctuary) directed the film from a script by author Virginia Feito (Mrs. March), based on her novel of the same name. Victorian Psycho is produced by Dan Kagan (Longlegs) and Sebastien Raybaud (Greenland: Migration).
Victorian Psycho is rated ‘R’ for “strong bloody violence and brief sexual material.”
Meagan Navarro wrote in her review for Bloody Disgusting, “Carnage becomes pretty dang delightful in Maika Monroe’s capable hands. Victorian Psycho operates on familiar slay grounds, but it’s an absolute blast thanks to its zany style and deranged sense of fun.”
