its funny, this film is getting promoted pretty damned well but i still can't decide if its something id like to see lol. i think ill wait until ive read a bunch of BD members reviews before i decide whether or not to give it a look.

I saw it at an advanced screening. It was awful. There are so many jump-out type surprises that every time the camera pans you know another is coming. The hoodoo mumbo jumbo made no sense and muddled what could have been a simple poltergeist movie. The preview was free but it wasn't even worth the time invested. Avoid.
Saw the movie 03/28 at a local theater. It was , for the most part, attention holding ,but NOT scary. The special effects were marginal, charactors were somewhat likable, story easy to follow, but the best part......the end, because you could finally leave the theater
I saw it Friday night, it was overall good if you are looking for a ghost story, but don't expect to be scared or have nightmares by any means. True to the "Based on the true story" form, they steered away from reality to make it a little more interesting. It was only an hour and a half, so I think it was aiiiiight.
the movie sucked. go see last house on the left, way better.
