Things are about to get hairy as Summit has brought on a cast of American Indian actors to star in the werewolf- and vampire-themed The Twilight Saga's New Moon, the sequel to "Twilight," slated for release this November (they better start filming soon!). You can see the new cast members of the second adaptation by reading on.

The studio has hired Chaske Spencer, Bronson Pelletier, Alex Meraz, Kiowa Gordon and Tyson Houseman to form the ensemble Wolf Pack, who in Stephenie Meyer's novel take the side of the humans in their fight against the evil breed of vampires.

Taylor Lautner previously had been cast as Jacob Black, also a member of the Wolf Pack.

Summit noted that all of the actors are of American Indian descent, with Sioux, Purepecha and Hualapai among the tribes represented.

Meyer made the announcement on her Web site after weeks of rumors that director Chris Weitz was close to casting members of the Wolf Pack.

In NEW MOON, Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) is devastated by the abrupt departure of her vampire love, Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) but her spirit is rekindled by her growing friendship with the irresistible Jacob Black. Suddenly she finds herself drawn into the world of the werewolves, ancestral enemies of the vampires, and finds her loyalties tested.

That's cool, at least their staying true, I thinks it's refreshing when movies cast different ethnicities.

isn't this a horror website? since when did we start covering teen crush bullshit? the twilight story is fuckin retarded, what this author did to vampires is non-refundable.

Twilight was disappointing, but good to see they are trying to create the 'myth' authentically regarding the local tribe, via casting Native American actors.

I agree with ZombieHunter. Although the sick curious side of me does wonder just how badly one can fuck up werewolf mythology, I would never watch this trash.

I'm with ZombieHunter...this is so fucking lame. I don't understand how someone can take vampires and werewolves and turn it into lame-ass neutered crap that wouldn't scare an infant. Werewolves and vampires are enemies? Where have we seen this brilliant idea before? Twilight sucks! Please, stop covering it! Am I on bloody-disgusting.com or squeezably-soft.com?

More Twilight coverage = more babies crying about how it's not horror. If you hate it so much, why do you idiots keep flocking to every post on the subject and leaving your stain? Not interested, then don't open the link...it's that simple kids.
