Marilyn Manson’s anticipated reunion with longtime friend and foil Twiggy Ramirez inches closer with the release of “We're From America,” the first listen from the forthcoming The High End of Low. Available as a free download March 27th, exclusively on MarilynManson.com, the song will be available as a digital single on April 7th and will preview Manson’s forthcoming seventh studio album landing May 26th.
The album’s official first single “Arma… geddon” will arrive at radio April 13th. Manson’s new lineup including Ramirez (for the first time in close to a decade), plus keyboardist Chris Vrenna, and dummer Ginger Fish, will close the main stage at the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival, this July through August. Manson will also kick off his world tour with a headline festival run this June in Europe
Produced by Manson, Vrenna, and Twiggy, The High End of Low was recorded in his Hollywood Hills studio and also features the track, “I Want to Kill You Like They Do In The Movies.” Manson says of the new album, "I think my life definitely ended and began. The record sounds very final, but it's almost optimistic - though that feels like a strange word to use. It's a phoenix from the fire and a redemption resurrection."
Since emerging from South Florida.. in the early 1990s, Marilyn Manson has continued to upend the mainstream with each new release. The tumultuous relationship Manson has cultivated with the public worldwide has resulted in multi-million records sales, sold-out tours, protests, legal battles, hate, adoration, award-winning distilled spirits (Mansinthe) and most importantly, a long list of some of the most enduring and genre-defying music in the rock era (“Lunchbox,” “Sweet Dreams,” “The Beautiful People,” “Tourniquet,” “The Dope Show,” “This Is The New Shit,” “Mobscene,” “Heart-Shaped Glasses,”etc.)
The first one’s always free. Beginning with a small, slow dose on March 27th with “We Are From America,” the new era of Marilyn Manson and The High End of Low begins now.
manson is a tool. His music sucks, his fanbase is all little teenage outcasts looking for someone to make them feel special. Oh marilyn you poor middle aged man, god still hates you, boo hoo/
If Manson were as smart as he thinks he is, he might've taken a page from his buddy Trent Reznor's book: The Slip was an awesome NIN album and was completely free on their website. Not to mention two new tracks Trent's also given away on a free EP sampler available on the NIN/JA tour website. Give up more than a tease, I might actually WANT this album. And wasn't Twiggy working with A Perfect Circle? Meh, it's been awhile, I guess...
Protecious, why launch an attack on his fanbase just because their tastes differ to yours? In fact, why be on this thread at all if you can't stand him? Did you call yourself Protecious because you couldn't spell Pretentious?
Manson is one of the MOST talented songwriters around today. BTW... IT'S FUNNY HOW IT'S ALWAYS THE SAME CRYBABY TROLLS POSTING THE SAME CRYBABY COMMENTS EVERY CHANCE THEY GET. GET A LIFE LOSERS ;) Looking forward to the new Manson tune.
Manson is anything but talented... If he was talented he would have gave up his bullshit teen-angst crap years ago. He just feeds off the confused youth of america. WOW some talent there... lol. you losers. Go cut yourself and cry because daddy wasn't around enough, I hate god, lol.
Fuckin a yo, i cant wait! (Also, anyone who knows anything around this site knows that Brad has always reported about Manson and NIN over the years on B-D, you dont like it, OH FUCKIN WELL.)
Why do ppl still believe Manson sings about "cutting themselves and "suicide"? I have every album and can't seem to find these songs! If you actually understood english you would realize his songs are actually against such behavior. I guess ppl still need some one to blame for their little sister hanging themselves!
Manson is the fucking man!...Im so happy he's coming out with new music.whoever dosn't like him, can suck a fucking chode.
