Before this starts spreading through the Web like a wildfire, beyond the break you'll find a faux trailer for a film entitled Gobstopper, a pretty hilarious spoof trailer for a fake horror pic starring Christopher Lloyd (!), Martha MacIsaac, Zach Gilford, Paul Rust, Nicky Whelan, Paul Scheer, Wee Man and Little Jon. Written and directed by Eric Appel for the website Funny or Die, the film is a riff on Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, among other films. Fake or not, this is far superior to that Tim Burton abomination. Christopher Lloyd once again proves why he is one of the most underated actors around. He fits the role far better than Johnny Depp ever could have, hell he even beats Gene Wilder there!
I hope the writer is reading all these comments, because this is the fuckin funniest scariest coolest shit ever.... Lloyd is fuckin nuts. Please I hope they make this, and while there at it, remake all the kids movies as horror movies. Shit can you see lion king as a R rated flick LOL...
me and my buddy actually had an idea for a horror version of a willy wonka feature a couple years back. he let me know about this trailer a couple days ago. while he was excited about the trailer, he was bummed (as was i) about the idea actually working and could possibly get a lot of attention.
