'Outlander' DVD Cover Art Revealed

Arriving on DVD May 19th from Genius Products is Howard McCain's hotly anticipated Outlander. Today we got our hands on your first look at the DVD cover art, read on to check it out. Special features include: Deleted Scenes, Commentary by Writer/Director Howard McCain, Writer Dirk Blackman, and Producer Chris Roberts and John Schimmel, VFX Tests and Animatics, and Production Design Galleries.

During the reign of the Vikings, Kainan (Jim Caviezel), a man from a far-off world, crash lands on Earth, bringing with him an alien predator known as the Moorwen. Though both man and monster are seeking revenge for violence committed against them, Kainan leads the alliance to kill the Moorwen by fusing his advanced technology with the Viking's Iron Age weaponry.

How the hell do these people get jobs in design? That is worse than something I could have created my freshman year of college 6 years ago. Some one needs to step in at these companies who has an eye for design. The terrible covers need to stop. Its almost like they said "how could we fuck this movie any more? We already short handed the release, pushed the release back a ton of times? Well lets let my 6 year old son copy and paste stock images from the movie onto a layout, yeah that'll be perfect"

inksb, I agree. Then again, most horror films have bad cover art. Just look at Frontier(s), The Signal, or even The Strangers. The quote on the cover is horrible as well.

I think it would have been a better cover if they left out the vikings charging on the bottom. Cant wait to see the movie though it looks intense.

I absolutely loved this movie. The monster is wicked and the movie was quite intense.
