IFC Films has slated the Norwegian horror/comedy (that's not so funny) Dead Snow for release on June 12. The film will open day-and-date with VOD, so catch it on TV or in theaters. In the official Sundance selection, a group of teenagers had all they needed for a successful ski vacation; cabin, skis, snowmobile, toboggan, copious amounts of beer and a fertile mix of the sexes. Certainly, none of them anticipated not returning home alive! However, the Nazi-zombie battalion haunting the mountains had other plans.
The IFC video on demand releases to coincide with the theater release is one of the best things that has ever been done. It will cost around $8 but with the way things are going now thats only $2 more then what Blockbuster charges for a rental.
same here...bring it on! the trailers look pretty gory and funny too.
