Something kinda cool went up for bidding on Ebay this week. It's the 1997 Honda Civic that was used in the film Grindhouse/Death Proof directed by Quentin Tarantino. It's not the car that was destroyed in the crash scene but the one that was used for all of the driving scenes. After filming back-to-back, productions gave the car to Elise & Electra Avellan who played the Crazy Babysitter Twins in the film. I don't care how much money it made...Grindhouse was one of the best movie going experiences of my life!!!! I fuckin love Death Proof! Stuntman Mike has become one of my favorite characters in movie history for me.
I too want Stuntman Mike's bitchen car, to hell with this civic. Damn they really did lose a lot of money on this film, gotta sell their shit. I loved grindhouse (people didn't get it i guess).
That's Funny! The car has over 2k miles. It's maybe worth $800 if that. It's probably the only prop car that I have seen that wouldn't make it out of the state they are selling it from.
Well of course Stuntman Mike's 1970 Chevy Nova and his 69 Charger were nicer, but I don't think I would want to see the prices of those cars.
