'Alien' Quadrilogy, New 'Friday the 13th' Blu-rays
Friday, March 13, 2009

The Digital Bits has a double-dose of updates this morning. First, Paramount Home Entertainment is planning a July release for both Friday the 13th: Part II and Friday the 13th: Part III 3D on Blu-ray. In addition, they've confirmed that Fox Home Entertainment's current "plans for the ENTIRE Alien Quadrilogy set to be ported over to Blu-ray Disc for a late 2009 release. This would include all four films in the series - the complete set will all extras - and likely new material created exclusively for the Blu-ray release as well." That will be the best day of my life, hands down.

Hellyeah! I was startin to think they'll never put the alien saga out on BR. I hope they don't miss anything and include all the directors/extended cuts and maybe some new commentaries would be awesome. Now all we still need is that damn Aliens:Colonial Marines game and I can die a happy man!

Alien 3 and 4 sucked. Only the first two were awesome movies. And we better don't get even started on the AvP movies....

Jason2009, you're a douche-bag. "Only the first two were awesome movies". Were? They ARE awesome movies. BTW: Alien 3 had a few problems, but overall it's violent as fuck and a worthy entry to the series. Part 4 is a turd, like you Jason2009.
