Another Dark Castle film that has taken literally forever to get released is The Orphan, which was directed by Jaume Collet-Serra (House of Wax). Beyond the break you can get your first look at the trailer featuring a creepy little kid up to no good. Starring Peter Sarsgaard, Vera Farmiga, Isabelle Fuhrman, Lorry Ayers, David Leonard and Skye Peters, the pic is slated for release on July 24th.
The tragic loss of their unborn child has devastated Kate and John, taking a toll on both their marriage and Kate's fragile psyche as she is plagued by nightmares and haunted by demons from her past. Struggling to regain some semblance of normalcy in their lives, the couple decides to adopt another child. At the local orphanage, both John and Kate find themselves strangely drawn to a young girl named Esther. Almost as soon as they welcome Esther into their home, however, an alarming series of events begins to unfold, leading Kate to believe that there's something wrong with Esther--this seemingly angelic little girl is not what she appears to be. Concerned for the safety of her family, Kate tries to get John and others to see past Esther's sweet facade. But her warnings go unheeded until it may be too late...for everyone.
It actually does look kind of creepy. At first it just felt silly, but then it started to get this "Good Son" thing going for it. Idk, I think I'd probably check this one out... Hey, here's an idea! How about Warner Bros. gets the fuck on releasing Trick 'r Treat and THEN worry about this?

This looks really good and I typically dont go for crap like this. At the end,when she takes her choaker off, her head falls off.
I second Warner releasing Trick r Treat. Or at LEAST release a torrent of it or SOMETHING!
This trailer really surprised me, and I have to say, it looks really good. Looks much better than 'Godsend'.
