i haven't really been all that interested in this but if it gets a decent theatrical release (in other words if it comes to a theater near me) i'll definitely go see it.

killerkong56, you obviously dont realize that the appeal to the original was the over-sexed, poorly acted horny teens, and the overall campiness...i dont expect much from this remake, but the worst they could do is try and make it dead serious.

It somehow seems that the more light-hearted a movie is, the less I mind it being remade. The stills from this one are great so far.

Morningside is right. The original was all about the sex, gore and nudity. It was made to be pure campy fun, nothing more. That's where the major problem with the remake occurs. I hear they are trying to add a "drug dealer" subplot to the remake. This movie shouldn't focus on anything MORE than the party aspect and the demons themselves. I think I heard the subplot deals with one of the main guys being pressured to sell some drugs at the party by a kingpin-like dealer, then something happening and the dealer sends his henchmen to the party to rough up the guy. Something like that. I don't see the point, at all, for something like that.

bdwolf312, Linnea Quigley is making a cameo in this. I think this has the potential to be good but like it has been mention, why not keep the name Hull House???

I have faith that this remake will be good the director adam gierasch did autopsy I saw this firsthand at frightfest last year & was very good so im sure night of the demons is in goodhands.

Hell yeah the original kicked ass lets hope the remake kicks ass as well. I too agree that we dont need some serious story line, let it focus on the demons and the haunting/kills.
