Valerie Cruz ("Dexter") has landed a recurring role on HBO's incredible vampire drama True Blood where she'll play Isabel, an elegant Hispanic vampire. She is repped by Artists and John Carrabino Management. In other news, the WB.com has picked up an online horror series starring Jessica "LonelyGirl15" Rose entitled Blood Cell, which was produced by 60 Frames (BDTV). In Cell, a young woman must race against the clock to stop a sadistic madman after receiving a disturbing late-night phone call from a friend in danger. No premiere date has been set. The project, first announced last year, was written and directed Eduardo Rodriguez (Curandero) and produced by Jeremy Bell.
